My grandfather's sister, Mayme WILSON (b. 1866, IN) married 24 Oct 1895 in Delaware Co., IN to Arthur W.
CASE. Arthur was the son of Lambert L. CASE (b. c1850, IN) and Mary E. WHITE (b.
c1851, NY)
I am part of the Kentucky Cases. My great grandparents were
Charles Glover Case and Anna Spencer. He was born 9-11-1835 in Montgomery
County, Kentucky, and she was born 8-21-1838 in Bath County, Kentuckey. They
ended up in Kansas - had 10 children. His mother is believed to be 1/4
Cherokee. Had a brother named Henry. Anna Spencer's parents were Thomas
Spencer and Margaret Hart. If this is your line, I will be glad to furnish
you their children and their spouses names as well as dates. I have that
complete.

Our CASE line goes back to a Lucien (Lucian) Fernando CASE b. Oct 20, 1845 in
Connecticut, possibly Rockville. Lived for sometime in Tolland Co., Conn.
with Chester Scripture family, age ~ 14. Enlisted in Comp. I, 16th Infantry
in the Union Army during Civil War. Captured and taken to Andersonville
Prison.
I can give more details if needed.

Elizabeth Case married, 1. Joseph Lewis, of Simsbury, 1674. He died
1680. 2. John Tuller, of the same town, 1684. Mrs. Elizabeth Tuller
died October 9, 1718. "She was well and died in about six hours time."
(Simsbury Records). Mr. John Tuller died in 1742.

After the war he hooked up with a train company and traveled from Connecticut
to Illinois and then south to Denison, Texas. Along the way he married Ellen
Brayton. (possibly in Illinois) I think he may have been on the MKT RR also
known as the KATY RR. It ended in Denison, TX.
His daughter Bessie Winefred CASE married Arthur Louis DAIN, from Iowa (?).
He also worked on the RR. They moved to NE New Mexico, Arthur worked on RR
between Tucumcari and Raton or the area. They had Marion, Lois and Arthur
Case DAIN.
Lucien's son LeRoy or Roy CASE fought in Spanish American War.
Lucien died on April 21, 1904 in Trinidad, NM.

Born: November 4, 1849 at New London, Eaton Co., Ohio

The Case family moved to Michigan from Ohio sometime between 1860 and
1867.
Marriages: 1) Lucy Welch, of Carmel, Michigan on December 2, 1869.
Married in Charlotte, Michigan.
She died August 2, 1876.
2) Mary Jane Youngs of Lee Township, MI on January 3, 1878
Married in Charlotte, Michigan.
Last name may have been Young.
She died after April 1892 (exact date not known).
3) Belle. I do not know her last name(s), birth or death dates, or
anything else about her.

1) Lena Case. She was born in 1870 in Eaton Co, Michigan.
She married Julius C. Ward on December 11, 1891.
Death date unknown. Children unknown.
2) Belle Case. Born January 30, 1872 in Michigan.
She married Marshall Kelly on May 7, 1891.
Death date unknown.
3 children - Elwood Jason, Frank Max, Geneieve Mabel.

1) Frank Case. Born November 14, 1878 in Chester, Huron Co. Michigan.
No other information found.
2) Harry (George) Case. Born May 2, 1885 in Vermontville, Eaton,
Michigan.
Married Ola Patchen on July 24, 1910 in Greeley Nebraska.
Died on March 4, 1969 in Sheridan Wyoming. Buried in Riverton,
Fremont Co, Wyoming.
Harry went by the name of George Emerson and George Emerson Case at
different times in his life.
5 children - James, Mary, Leo, Max, and Ned.
3) Lillian May Case. Born March 8, 1887 in Vermontville, Eaton,
Michigan.
Married to a man named Felter or Feller (lived in Battle Creek) and
to a man named Blanchard.
She was living in Lansing, Michigan in 1925 when Worlin Case died.
4) Edward Case. Lived in California. Probably died there.
Was a member of the painters union. No other information.
5) Albert Case. Supposedly died in a hobo camp during the Great
Depression. No other information.
6) Orin Lester Case. Born on April 2, 1892 in Vermontville, Michigan.
Married to Grace Doty Booksh, then to Lee (last name unknown).
He died on February 29, 1972.
He served in the Army and was in Russia during the Russian
Revolution.
Lee was still liveing in Port Huron Michigan (as of 1994).
Other: Worlin's obituary mentions a son named Robert. This is the only
mention of this child that I have been able to find. Orin Case's birth
certificate mentions that Orin was the seventh child of Mary Jane Youngs
Case and that all were still living when he was born. Robert could
possibly be the unknown missing seventh child.
Worlin has lived in Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, South Dakota, and
Minnesota.
Worlin was named for his uncle (mother's brother-in-law) Worlin Carlton.
Death: Died April 23, 1925 at Lansing Michigan. Buried at Mount Hope
Cemetery, Inghram Co, Section Z, Plot 8.
