Description by Violet Toph |
---|
On the old Sunman farm now owned by Mr. Scholfield about three miles east of Morris and northwest of Sunman, Ind are some of the Sunman graves. The vault in the side of the hill had no inscription on it but it is said that it contains the bodies of Thomas Sunman ans his wife and perhaps the scanty remains of a woman and child that were burned to death in the old Sunman House when it burned. |
