He graduated from Harvard. 2 CONT 2 CONT After briefly working for The Boston & Maine railroad in MA, he took 2 CONC employment at the St. Georges School in Newport RI, where he was a 2 CONC French master and athletic coach for 35 years. He earned extra income 2 CONC by tutoring students in the summer and often traveled as part of these 2 CONC duties. With WWII and a new headmaster at St. Georges, he went to 2 CONC Santa Barbara to work in a factory, for the war effort, riveting tails 2 CONC on bombers. After 2 CONC the Jacobite Rebellion, and the Highland Clearances, many scots 2 CONC including out ancestor joined the British Army as there was no work 2 CONC and no land for them in Scotland, in the McLoud's case, the Isle of 2 CONC Skye. He sailed for Canada with Burgoyne's Army in 1776. That army 2 CONC marched down towards New York with the intention of cutting the 2 CONC colonies in two, but were defeated at Saratoga NY. The colonists used 2 CONC to circulate to the soldiers of the British army, many of whom were 2 CONC Scots or Germans from Hesse, the offer of a tract of land, seed corn, 2 CONC money and some tools to anyone who deserted. Whether or not McLoud 2 CONC deserted or availed himself of this offer, I don't know but by the 2 CONC time of the peace, he was a farmer.
